University community unites in respect and remembrance

Thousands of Florida State University students, faculty, staff, and community members gathered April 18 at Langford Green in a powerful display of solidarity to reflect and remember Robert Morales and Tiru Chabba, whose lives were lost, and the six others injured in the shooting at the Student Union just one day earlier.
The Gathering of Unity vigil provided a space for the FSU family to come together to offer support and comfort to one another in the wake of the tragedy, with many attendees laying flowers and lighting candles for the memorial display in front of the Unconquered statue.
