In the time between earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri in 2020 and beginning her doctoral studies at FSU in 2023, Lillie Bradshaw conducted research for the U.S. Geological Survey. She traveled to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks in California to examine the effects of copper and nitrogen on high-elevations lakes, such as Pear Lake (pictured). Photo by Gaby Ruso.
