Gallery: Math Fun Day adds up to success

02/07/24

The FSU Department of Mathematics, part of the College of Arts and Sciences, hosted the ninth annual Math Fun Day on Feb. 3. The open house-style event with activities geared to students grades K-12 encourages FSU students to engage with the broader Tallahassee community by applying their classroom knowledge to present the often unseen, fun side of math and how it plays into our daily lives. This year, 600 people attended Math Fun Day to take part in the hands-on activities, presentations, exhibits, and demonstrations organized by 140 FSU faculty, staff and student volunteers.
