Florida State University is commemorating a rare and historic achievement, marking 175 years since its founding. On January 21, students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends took part in a spirited cupcake kickoff hosted by New Student and Family Programs at the Student Union in celebration of the university’s birthday, which is officially Jan. 24, 1851.
