  • Chemosensory/Systems Neuroscience with a focus on investigating chemosensory processes, ingestive behavior, neural circuitry, or gut-brain interactions in vertebrates or other model organisms. Preferred expertise in advanced techniques such as large-scale neural recording (e.g., electrophysiology, imaging), and/or behavioral assays with neural manipulation (to link neural circuits to behavior) is highly desirable. We are seeking collaborative preceptors to join our longstanding (>30y) NIH Chemosensory Training Program.
  • Cellular/Molecular Neuroscience focusing on synaptic structure, gene regulation, stem cells or disease mechanisms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in investigating neural circuits, glia biology, neuroimmunology, development, cellular and/or molecular functions and utilize advanced, cutting-edge in vitro and/or in vivo techniques.
