The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry is searching for a new Facilities Superintendent to join the team! 

This position is responsible for ensuring that all Chemistry & Biochemistry buildings, equipment, and property be appropriately managed and executed for the following locations: Dittmer Chemistry Lab (DLC), Chemical Sciences Laboratories (CSL), Hoffman Lecture Hall (HTL) and Fisher Lecture Hall. The incumbent will be required to collaborate and coordinate with the Department Chair, Faculty and administrative personnel to carry out position responsibilities.

The Department of Physics is currently looking for a new Scientific Research Specialist to join the team! 

The Scientific Research Specialist will oversee silicon detector quality control (QC) for the FSU HEP group’s contribution to the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL) project.  The incumbent is responsible for the timely delivery of QC results and recommendations to the CMS HGCAL sensors group and maintenance of sensor quality throughout the duration of the construction project.
