Assistant Professor, Cultural Anthropology

The Department of Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Cultural Anthropology. Our department is in an unprecedented period of growth as we reopen our PhD program. We seek applicants whose expertise complement and expand the existing strengths of the faculty.

Of particular interest are individuals whose research utilizes a mixed-method approach for understanding issues related to climate and the Anthropocene, migration and mobility, and/or social inequalities. Candidates whose research program has the potential to attract funding from the NSF, NIH, and other external sources are especially encouraged to apply.
