The Department of Psychology at Florida State University (FSU) invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Behavioral/Systems/Computational Neuroscience with an anticipated start date in early August 2027. Candidates with lines of laboratory research in any area of Neuroscience are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants whose research programs synergizes with existing departmental strengths in chemosensation, learning and memory, social behavior, neuroendocrinology, and the neurobiology of motivated behavior.
Faculty are expected to maintain a strong research program, to train and mentor graduate and undergraduate neuroscience students, and to strive for excellence in teaching neuroscience courses through the Department of Psychology. A doctoral degree from an accredited institution is required. Applicants with a demonstrated commitment to expanding access to neuroscience through their program of research are encouraged to apply.
