Florida State faculty to share insights for upcoming hurricane season
Florida State University’s internationally recognized experts will provide insight into the upcoming hurricane season at a virtual briefing May 17.
For media seeking commentary for their hurricane season preview stories, FSU faculty with expertise in forecasting, atmospheric dynamics, the insurance market, infrastructure challenges and resilience planning will be able to answer questions.
Faculty members participating in the event include Professor of Risk Management and Insurance Patricia Born, Planner-in-Residence in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning Dennis Smith and Associate Professor of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Science Allison Wing.
