Questions about academic policies
Find answers to many of your questions about policies regarding courses, grades, graduation requirements, etc. by visiting the web page titled "Academic Policies for Undergraduate A&S Students."
A&S Student Affairs Office (Advising Office)
The A&S Student Affairs Office staff, located in Rm. 010 Longmire, aims to provide students with accurate information about academic matters in a timely way. If you are seeking advising for your upcoming schedule, please see the department advisor in your major.
Walk-in advising
The office has open advising hours from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. We do not assign specific students to specific advisors, so you can see an advisor at any time during the walk-in advising hours. This system will allow you to get answers to your questions quickly.
E-mail advising
For brief questions, you do not need to come into our office. Send an e-mail to as-advising@fsu.edu. Be sure to include your name and FSU e-mail address in the message. We will answer your message promptly. During the first week of classes, please be patient. We will do our best to respond to you as quickly as possible.
